Some good news for US Americans and Canadians... Free in store build

In light of recent developments, I figured you could use a bit of positivity, so... Lego has announced a Harry Potter In-store Build for the Harry Potter theme during the Back to Hogwarts week. At participating Lego Stores (for clarification, that's actual brick and mortar Lego Stores and not just a store selling lego or even the online shop), while supplies last, you can build a Butterbeer sales cart, and frankly it's pretty cute.



Sunday, September 7th* from 12 - 2pm
A limited quantity will be available.

LEGO Harry Potter™ Butterbeer Truck make and take event is intended for participants aged 6+ years. The LEGO Harry Potter™ Butterbeer Truck model will be available on a first come first serve basis, at participating locations, while supplies last. LEGO Harry Potter™ Butterbeer Truck offer is valid on September 7th, 2025* from 12 - 2pm only. Limited to one LEGO Harry Potter™ Butterbeer Truck build per guest. LEGO Harry Potter™ Butterbeer Truck model cannot be purchased.

Some presently known exceptions:
*This event is hosted on Saturday September 6th, 2025 from 12 - 2pm at The LEGO Store at Garden State in Paramus, NJ and at The LEGO Store at University Place in Orem, UT
*This event will not be hosted at The LEGO Store at Legacy Place in Dedham, MA. Instead please join us for our Grand Opening celebrations!
*This event will not be hosted at The LEGO Store at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. Please visit their store page for a substitute offering and timing.

The Back to Hogwarts Event begins tomorrow 01 September.

- Purchases at or above $40 get this year's Harry Potter lego Polybag: 30706 Quidditch Lesson as a GWP. (While supplies last.)



- Purchases at or above $130 additionally get 40770 Hogwarts™ Castle: Room of Requirement GWP. (While supplies last.)



- Lego Insiders (what the VIP program is now called) can order 76457 Hogsmeade™ Village – Collectors' Edition early as of 01 September (everyone else needs to wait until 04 September).
- While supplies last, those doing so will also receive the metal Hogsmeade™ Sign GWP.



So be aware, waiting to make your Harry Potter purchases until the Butterbeer truck build event may cost you the GWPs if they run out of them by then. As the Make and Take event doesn't seem tied to purchases, it might be safer to order what you want on the first and attend the in-store event the following weekend if it works for you.

I get it, I'm rarely in the vicinity of ours, but I like that they're trying to support the brick and mortar stores. Too many places are neglecting them in favour of their online presences.
