Pics of the two sets from the 2025 Lego Harry Potter Winter Wave are beneath the fold... Frankly they're good enough that even if you aren't normally the sort to peek at spoilers, this one is worth it.
Both sets come with a portrait from the collectible series introduced in 2024.
LEGO Harry Potter Set 76442 - Hogwarts Castle: Charms Class | 4 minifigures - Professor Filius Flitwick, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley | 204 pieces | US $19.99 - DE/FR €TBA - UK £TBA | Release: 01 JANUARY 2025
It looks like it will fold into a 12 x 9 box, and the furniture (blackboard, desk, and the stacks of books Flitwick stands on) will be able to be stored on the pieces extending into the interior. As it has at least one rail piece visible near the base, I assume it's meant to slot into a space in the Great Hall or future castle sets like the Potions Classroom does.

LEGO Harry Potter Set 76441 - Hogwarts Castle: Dueling Club | 3 minifigures - Professor Severus Snape, Professor Gilberto Lockhart, Harry Potter, and Draco Malfoy | 158 pieces | US $24.99 - DE/FR €TBA - UK £TBA | Release: 01 JANUARY 2025
Interestingly it includes the souped up spell casting wands we last saw (and have thus far only seen) in the Battle of Hogwarts set. (
erexen, speak of the devil...) It looks like we'll get two of them. There's an action element to the set, so Snape can send Lockhart (and cape!) flying, or the boys can try their hand at it. The set is meant to slot into the Great Hall, and comes with the missing fireplace. I'm less sure that the fireplace will be able to remain with the present table configuration, though, even if seats are removed. I'll have to try it and see.

In honour of Snape's most excellent arm printing (thank you, lego!), here Potter Puppet Pals' "Snape's Diary", which includes the even more excellent Snape's Ode to his Buttons (it begins at the 1:57 mark, but the embedded player doesn't seem to want to start from there):

Date: 2024-11-30 06:23 am (UTC)It's nice to see a continuing classrooms theme, though I'm a bit surprised that they brought back the original type Flitwick, but it works for the Wingardium Leviosa on the chalkboard, spell tiles, & feathers in pix. Noticed all the variety of spells that are written on the brown wall plates, including the Marauder's names. Not sure if I would have preferred them to figure out a way to integrate the last batch of classroom books into the castle?

> Snape
They're stuck between Scylla and Charybdis. The book says one thing (eventually) about Snape's age, the films another, and that's what they go off of as it provides the visuals.
> Love that they put the movie set pattern on the platform.
I hope the floor pattern isn't a sticker. While they won't get a lot of mileage out of prints, it's never great having stickers as an actively used floor. Fingers crossed.
> Did they use a formed plastic cape on Lockhart?
Yes, and while I'd usually prefer a cloth one, I think this was a good call, as the scene demands we toss Lockhart about rather aggressively.
> I'm a bit surprised that they brought back the original type Flitwick
As you say, it fits with the scene. Realistically there weren't but so many scenes in the respective classes, and fewer still made the jump to the screen. OG Flitwick is the one we see the most of in class. In fact, his makeup off moment conducting the Frog Choir wasn't supposed to be Flitwick, just an unnamed character, but then it stuck, and JKR was flexible, sure, why not?

That's for you to MOC. 😆 Their interest lies in coming up with new things to encourage people to keep buying, 😘 Plus the other isn't on the shelves anymore, and people need something / classrooms they'll be able to fit into the new castle.
The stickers / art rock(s).
Also, I've edited the post to include the Potter Puppet Pals video with the Ode to Snape's buttons in honour of his arm printing. ❤️ Scroll up to watch. 1:57.
