Two more, better quality, detail pix from the Great Hall!

We have two more pix from lego Harry Potter's 76435 Great Hall at Hogwarts set (1732 pieces $200 - $220), and they're sharper:



Interesting thing to note would be the Christmassy decorations on the place settings. There had been rumours that the set would give us the option of displaying the Halloween Great Hall and possibly the Christmas one as well. I think it's safe to say this is supposed to be the X-mas version. This year's lego Harry Potter Advent Calendar (2024) is also supposed to contain sets that correspond in some fashion to this set, and a tree is definitely included. It's possible that its contents allow us to properly dress the Great Hall for the hols. It remains to be seen if the Great Hall set also includes the pumpkins & co. (the Troll in the dungeons scene occurs on Halloween), but if not, it wouldn't require too many additions if it were keeping in scale with the Christmas deco.

There doesn't seem to be a fireplace, and no House points hourglasses are apparent, nor do we have Chamber of Secrets' owl podium. I also think we've seen better solutions for seating for the tables. I can't say I like the look of all the panels, either, but perhaps they'll look better when we get more pix. All four House flags / banners are a nice change, however. I look forward to more detailed pix.

I'm nicking the ceiling, I think, for my 2018 version of the Great Hall. There were complaints that it's the reverse side of the plates, but tbh, skies aren't 'flat', so I think that works well enough for me.

Those banners are definitely nice. 🥰
