PoA BrickHeadz! First Pic

And we now have a first picture of this year's lego Harry Potter BrickHeadz set. As expected, 40677 has characters from Prisoner of Azkaban and has five characters:



Third year Hermione Granger, a Dementor, Harry's Stag Patronus, third year Harry Potter casting said Patronus Charm, and Sirius Black, the eponymous escaped prisoner of Azkaban. The piece count is still unknown; the price should be in the ballpark of $50 | 50 EUR.

On the Hermione BrickHeadz, I'm not sure how I feel about the choice to go with a ring for the Time-turner instead of the printed Time-turner 1 x 1 round tile. It's probably more accurate this way, but I found it more difficult to recognise, especially when placed side by side with the sucking "mouth" of the dementor. Given it wouldn't have required a new print, it seems a strange choice. Speaking of prints... What I assume is Hermione's partially open hoody also seems weirdly boxy to me. Harry and Sirius both have printed fronts, and by contrast, Hermione's torso just hasn't turned out as well. Harry, on the other hand, comes with his own chocolate bar. (So I guess we know where the print budget went... 😆)

Honestly not sure how I feel about this one, some stuff seems pretty cool in concept, but you're so incredibly correct about the mediocre Hermione. But Harry gets a choc bar. :-/ It took a few seconds to figure out the weird ring on her chest... ummmm, yeah, the printed time turner makes WAAAAAY more sense. sigh. Surprised no Lupin, but I see the point of them each. Maybe another set with Lupin, werewolf form, Grimm (Sirius), and once again missing Snape. Really wish they'd give us a Far better new Snape minifig. Thank you for the news!!!
