What if the 2022 Lego Harry Potter Advent Calendar focused on the Order of the Phoenix's Christmas at 12 Grimmauld Place in 1995? With the release of the lovely Grimmauld Place set this year and an abundance of canonical Christmas material, it seems such a shame that it didn't, so with the magic of Mecabricks, let's just pretend it did... Hey Presto!
The calendar starts here with Day 01.
Day 09 of the 12 Grimmauld Place Advent Calendar
Day nine Ginny would join the group, wand and wreath metaphorically in hand, with a couple of Dungbombs at her disposal. Weasley women are forces to be reckoned with.
"Close that door!" comes a shriek from behind Harry, and both boys flinch in unison, caught in flagrante, Harry willing to accept guilt by association, or anything else for that matter, just at the moment. It's been a rough night. "You're letting the heat out, and you'll ruin the desert." Fred snaps the oven door closed without further hesitation as Harry looks over his shoulder to greet the new arrival and promptly relaxes.
"Oh, Ginny, it's only you. We thought you were your mum," he adds, oblivious to the darkening of her expression.
"My mum?" She doesn't sound pleased.
"Speak for yourself, mate," Fred laughs. "Although there is a certain audible resemblance..." he adds soto voce, chuckling to himself.
Unfortunately for him, her hearing seems near preternatural. "Shut it, or I've a Dungbomb with your name on it," she threatens casually in a way that suggests she's quite practiced - and knowing the family, she probably is - rounds on Harry and continues in much the same tone without missing a beat. "My mum?" she repeats, and Harry finally begins to develop a bit of clue.
"Well I guess we heard you in the hall..." He weakly starts to explain, doing nothing whatsoever to improve her demeanour.
"Quit while you're behind, Harry," Fred laughs again. "Where is mum anyway?" He asks his little sister as he leans his long frame against the counter to face her.
"Running some 'errands'," Ginny repeats her mum's explanation, all knowing full well by that she'll have meant visiting her husband again at St. Mungo's. Their mother is trying to salvage what she can of the day, but the attack on Arthur is front and centre of all their minds.
"And what've you been up to?" Fred asks, taking in the smudge of dirt on her nose and the wreath in her hand.
"Mum has us decorating and doing a spot of tidying up," she explains, spying a spider in the corner she immediately sets to Banishing, and hanging her wreath in its stead. Sirius hadn't done any decorating in preparation for the holidays, and neither he nor Kreacher had seemed overly motivated to do a proper tidy up either since the kids had returned to school in September. Gin's feeling a bit of a glorified house elf, but at least it helps distract her a little from the worrisome thoughts of her father's condition. She sighs as she takes Fred's vacated seat, and at a gesture from him rubs the dirt from the bridge of her nose without any residual hints of embarrassment. There'd been rather a lot to do, and at the first sign of a spider, naturally Ron had disappeared with nary a trace. Would his Disillusionment Charm were tenth that good.
I've had a good look through the catalogue for a suitable torso and came up empty, so today we'd probably need a new print for Ginny's jumper. If her pin isn't included (and frankly I couldn't make it out properly anyway) her outfit is "normal" enough to be useful for other minifigs. As Ginny was only a fourth year in OotP, she still has the midi-legs.

I always like to guess what the pieces in the Advent Calendars will build before peeking at the pictures, but here you see them assembled. To compensate for that, I've decided the best approach would be to include a picture of the next day's parts so you can play along at home:
