We finally have some good footage of the new figs.
Rolanda Hooch, Mistress of the Brooms, Flying Instructor

The fact we’re seeing Hooch both with and without her goggles means we could be looking at either the Quidditch Match or the Flying Lesson. (Given we’ve seen the Quidditch Match (75956) this series already... Here’s hoping it’s the Flying Lesson with Neville and his Remembrall. (Especially because I still need one of those... 😆)) Trusted source Guyon2002 has confirmed that the set will not be a further addition to the Hogwarts Moments series (which I find rather a pity and a missed opportunity). Worth noting, it does not appear to be the same Bricktober edition of Hooch, so both face sides were deliberate choices opening up the options for scenes for her inclusion. I like that. 😊
Quirrelldemort, Professor of Defence against the Dark Arts and villain of the first order, or at least the first book...

The new fig is the one in gold. 😉 The colour would indicate it’s our first closer look at one of the 20th anniversary figs. It stands to reason that the rest will also have the same pearl gold colour and the printing on the back, unlike the anniversary minifigs from the Star Wars and Ninjago series, which answers some questions. I’m frankly not sure if that makes them more or less desirable, but having seen some of the prices the other series’ anniversary figs are fetching on Bricklink (yikes 😐), they’re probably not bad things no matter how little use you personally might have for them. (And we’re back to “lego arbitrage”, or “how to finance your ABS habit through clever collecting...” 😆) As you can see, here, too, it’s a new print for the face. Not sure why they bothered, as it isn’t something you can use in a regular set, perhaps it foreshadows the inevitable / next Quirrell inclusion?
Huge thanks to youtube leaker Panda Minifigs for providing the pix and doing the (very useful) side by side comparison of the “Quirrellmorts”. (Quirrelldemorts? I’m undecided. Clearly. 😉) Link provided above, please click through and give him a like. ❤️
