A decade or so ago, there was a bit of official concept artwork for a potential Malfoy Manor set that unfortunately was never realised. Here that excerpt from the 'Lego Harry Potter - Building the Magical World' book:

There were a lot of features to this set that I really liked, but as drawn, presumably it required too many pieces and minifigs, wasn't 'enough' of a build, and of course was the location of two highly problematic scenes: Hermione's torture at Bellatrix' wandpoint 🙁, and Dobby's fatal stabbing by the very same wicked witch 😢. (Or three, if we count Charity Burbage's fit of... consumption 😐 (Wretched pun, please forgive me.)) The timing of the sketch is cleverly between those problematic scenes, but that might be splitting (bushy) hairs. (No matter how popular lego becomes with adults (AFOLs represent!), it's important to remember its roots as a children's toy.) At any rate, the sketch caught my fancy, so you can imagine my pleasure when talented lego modder MicMacPadWac decided to recreate it.

You can see more of his work on Flickr. Well worth a recce. (I particularly enjoy his ongoing project to add another story to the Diagon Alley D2C sets and vision of how a Gringotts could be sensibly integrated into the street scene.)

The release of the 2020 Room of Requirement 75966 (photo above) and 2021's Hogwarts Moment classroom sets (see the three most applicable set layouts below) has me hoping we might someday see an official variation of the Malfoy Manor set, presumably with some necessary adjustments. (What are the chances they include the ever so iconic Death Eater conference table? 😆 Pretty please?)

But using bits and pieces of the Moments sets as inspiration, one could picture how the organ and bookshelves could be included alongside the fireplace to capture the Manor, and even a chandelier should be within the realm of the possible I'd think, although at this point, for this set, I think I'd prefer they not be constrained by the 4 stud width format and borrow more from the RoR.
Also, having seen
mywitch's versions of the Manor, I rather feel a strong need for monogrammed... everything, really, a couple of deep wing-backed chairs and two snifters of cognac or tumblers of scotch. 😆 (Lagavulin or 18 y.o. Caol Ila. Knowing Lucius, it'll be Lagavulin, except it's clearly the wrong choice. But then he's good at those, what with the whole 'convicted Death Eater' thing... 😋)

Chapter 89 of her truly excellent 'Stupid Harry Potter Comix'.
And a happy Valentines' Day, everybody. ❤️
