acciobrickThere's more info to make a Harry Potter lego fan's heart happier! There should be an additional three sets next March released in the DOTS line:
41808 HP DOTS ??? $15
41809 HP DOTS Pencil Holder (518pcs) $20
41811 HP DOTS Desk Kit (856pcs) $45
I think it's safe to say we can orientate ourselves towards the Mickey Mouse / Disney Dots series for an idea of what we might be able to expect. It's reasonable to believe the $45 Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Back-to-School Project Box might be comparable. The Disney set features 6 different DOTS canvases, including a 2-drawer chest with Mickey ears, a picture frame, a note holder with secret space inside, 2 flat bag tags and an adhesive patch, plus loads of tiles (including 10 exclusive Mickey & Friends-decorated tiles) to decorate with. erexen is going to care about here is the fact there seem to be only 12 special tiles in the set, though, which will presumably save you some money to put towards the straight HP sets. 😉 (Bricklink doesn't have the set inventory up yet, so I can't speak to its contents for sure beyond the lego description.)
There are two $20 pencil / pen holders presently available as parts of the DOTS collection. 41936 the Rocket Ship and 41948 the Cute Banana Pen Holder. As Harry Potter is a licensed theme, I'd expect the set to be a bit smaller.
There's no info on 41808, the $15 dollar set, as to the piece count or content yet, although I'm thinking wristbands from the four Houses are likely, some sort of pared down version of the $35 Mickey & Friends Bracelets Mega Pack, which contains 5 bracelets. By that logic, they weigh in at roughly $7 a piece (licensing costs, yo) so we could see two bands, grey for Slytherin and Ravenclaw, and perhaps yellow for Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. No basis in rumour on that count, simply indulging in a bit of maths...
