Just in case you didn't believe there was one, here we have the official plan for how the new Battle of Hogwarts (lego Harry Potter 76415) set fits in with the other modular 2021+ system sets to make something that actually resembles the castle we all know and love.

76415 The Battle of Hogwarts (2023)
76389 Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets (2021)

And that finally gives us an explanation for why the Infirmary set was designed to bend around outwards. (I'm finding that titbit surprisingly satisfying. 😆)
