More Info on the Summer Sets

Pictures of the new Tom Riddle minifig just leaked. He’s not the same as the one released in the book, the uniform looks more film accurate (grey legs), although the fan reaction is mixed. (Apparently we’re a grumpy lot. 😆) Mostly the issue seems to be the hoody effect of the rear view caused by using the lighter coloured legs and the blazer being too short, but presumably the latter means the legs could be used for another minifig. Anyway, thanks to chaos_lego for the pic.



New info: we’ll see a buildable Fawkes much like Hedwig.

Hooch should appear in buildable “something” set (not a broom, not a Snitch, and as buildable X, obviously not another Moments set either *sniff*).

There will be a buildable character(s) set as well, sort of like the Mickey and Mini set (43179, $180, 1739 pieces). Word has it it’s Harry and Hermione. (If that’s true, and two reliable sources (guyon and falconfan) have confirmed it, I can’t believe they wouldn’t provide us with enough extra parts to at least mod a Ron in the process, sort of like how the Crests Arts sets allow you to make different builds from the same set by design.) Who knows, maybe it’s a Go Brick Me!-like set on a much larger scale? We’ll have to wait and see. ( Read more... )
