Promobricks has a lovely new leak for us on the Harry Potter lego sets due this winter, and I'm chuffed already, just from the descriptions alone. 😃 We can expect four new sets, two more of the Hogwarts Moment sets (Divination and Moody's DADA classroom), an extension to the 2021 Hogwarts modular castle system for the Infirmary (!) and a buildable trunk. (And yes, I'm afraid that does indeed confirm what I've been saying: we won't be seeing a return to the popular 2018/20 style.) That last item is a little more difficult to explain than the others - off Promobricks' description, they seem to be struggling, too 😆 - so I think we'll need to wait for pictures on that one to judge. But basically the overall takeaway should be this: lego is evidently fairly serious about the HP line, which is awesome! For one thing we're seeing what is only our second winter wave since the series' reboot in 2018, which even if the sets themselves perhaps aren't quite your cup of tea is great news. (Think of it this way, as long as the series is in production and the more sets there are, the greater the chances of one day seeing that set you'd love to have. So, win! 😃) And in addition to expanding on last year's "gimmick" with the Hogwarts Moment "book" sets, they're giving us a regular set for the first time in a winter wave, and an all new format in the form of the buildable suitcase. Creativity at work! Always a good sign, it's not merely production by rote, and they really do seem willing to try out a bunch of things with this series. So without further ado, on to the leaks...
75396 Hogwarts Moment: Divination classroom, 297 pieces, retailing at 30 EUR with Sybill Trelawney, Harry and one of the Patil twins. Promobricks didn't say which, so I'll wager it will end up being Parvati (in yet another Gryffindor uniform 😝), because they can't help smothering us in the things and seem to be fundamentally opposed to House diversity (I'm blaming Warner for that *nods*). Plus the books and films weren't consistent as to Padma's House, so that would allow them to skirt the issue neatly. The students are expected to have (the still fairly rare) midi-legs (I imagine this takes place in PoA / third year) and it will all fit in a violet book. Divination will include a table with a crystal ball, poufs for the students (fingers crossed for colourful cushions and gold tassels), and an armchair for a new Professor Trelawney minifig, updated with legs (instead of the CMF's skirt), so she'll actually be able to use said chair. I'm hoping for a new Divination "textbook" for the minifigs as well in the style the other sets had, and I'll be sorely disappointed if there isn't a Grim sticker for the tea cups (to say nothing of being forced to resort to making my own...). How to draw a lego Grim using only dots... Hmm... (Pointillism ftw!)
75396 Hogwarts Moment: (Moody's GoF) DADA classroom, 257 pieces retailing at 30 EUR with Professor Moody, Hermione, and what is presumably a highly traumatised Neville. (Poor Neville.) The set will be a black book and include tables and benches for the students, the blackboard with the three Unforgivables, and an even poorer spider for demonstrating the assorted curses. Neville can count his blessings. (And they said Deathly Hallows was too dark... 😆) Sadly, no inclusion of a ferret was mentioned. (I'm inconsolable; Draco, however, is presumably greatly relieved.)
Odd note: the two students are reported to have the short legs (???), which admittedly doesn't make too much sense to me. It's possible something was miscommunicated, because as fourth years they really should have the midi-legs, and given this is Moody's classroom, there's no doubt as to the year here.
75398 the Hogwarts Infirmary, 510 pieces retailing at 40 EUR. This new version of the Infirmary (last released in the 2019 Clock Tower) will be an extension of the 2021 modular Chamber of Secrets Hogwarts system. The setting for this set is third year, though, so presumably it's the Time Turner scene from PoA. The exterior will once again be the Clock Tower, but! But! We'll finally get a Madam Pomfrey minifig. (And you can well imagine my pleasure. w00t!) ❤️ In addition to our favourite Matron, we'll also get the trio, possibly Ron with a broken leg and almost definitely Hermione with the Time Turner. In keeping with the 2021 format, the Infirmary will consist of three of those 8x8 segments, connected by hinges so that they can be displayed at an angle, possibly sort of like of this:

The modules will contain sickbeds, there will also be the typical screens, medical equipment (some Skele-grow would be brilliant!), and assorted sweets, because someone clearly watched the films (or wasn't raised by wolves). This is a little odd, inasmuch as it sounds like it's physically smaller than the Fluffy Encounter set which sold for the same price (but contained only 396 pieces), unless the Infirmary/ Clock Tower extends more in the vertical. My interest is definitely piqued.
Thing to bear in mind: the 2019 Clock Tower goes EOL at the end of this year, and is clearly being replaced with this set. It's interesting that there will be this short of a gap between releases again, much like with the 2018 Great Hall / 2021 Chamber of Secrets sets. Anyway, if you prefer the older style, pick it up while you still can.
75399 Hogwarts Suitcase, 603 pieces retailing at 50 EUR. Apparently this will be another buildable suitcase. Hmm. (I'm yet another one of those folks who didn't pick up the Newt's Briefcase set, so I'm on the fence about this one. While I'm fairly certain it will be lovely, I'm less certain I'll purchase it, which is something I can say sight unseen for the other three sets.) Anyway, the hallmark of this set is supposed to be "customisation". It sounds like they're repeating the feature of customising the House scarf from the Icons set here by letting us change some of the coloured tiles on the suitcases. The suitcase is also supposed to be lockable (perhaps in a nod to Newt's case?), and when the suitcase is opened, with the bricks included we'll apparently be able to build a number of scenes from the books and films, like the Sorting Ceremony, the Welcoming Feast, and assorted common rooms. (This sounds a little like the "Build Your Own Adventure" book parts pack.) The set will also include parts for one teacher and one student minifig, but with extra pieces to allow us to customise them as well. (It would be nice to see a Hufflepuff uniform given the Herbology Moment set didn't include any.) And lastly they're advertising the set as including a sticker sheet, a bold choice considering how those are usually received. lol (Frankly, I've purchased a few lego sticker books, and I think they do a great job with the artwork, so I'm not disappointed.) The stickers are to include a number of iconic lego HP things, like the House Crests, the 9 3/4 logo, and the Tri-Magic Tournament Cup.
And that would be all they've said about the sets at this time. I'll be sure to keep you posted when there's more.
A note as to our source: the promobricks video with all the info. While it's unlikely to be of much interest to you as it's in German, you can still give them an upvote for providing us with this preview, so maybe click through and show them a little love? ❤️
(And a cheery thanks to lego_guyon02 and GF for their respective heads up. Much appreciated.)
